It’s always important to escape the happy chaos of everyday life and make time for you and your partner; just the two of you. Whether that means calling the babysitter or dropping the kids off at the grandparents’ house, a night out together can be the perfect reset.

If you’re looking for something a little different than the usual dinner date, there’s a new experience coming to the French Quarter. Last Night at the Rue Bayou isn’t just a show—it’s set to be a full night out, wrapped into one experience.

Hosted at Storyville Music Hall, this immersive musical plans to blend live entertainment, food, and drinks in a way that puts you in the middle of the action. Your ticket includes two drinks along with a locally inspired taste of New Orleans. Guests can choose from stage-side seating, bar stools in the heart of the show, or balcony views overlooking the performance.

The show plans to weave together “romance, redemption, and a touch of the supernatural,” all set to the sounds of New Orleans and featuring a cast of local performers.

Last Night at the Rue Bayou is showing for a limited time only, with performances running Thursdays through Sundays from mid-April through early May. Showtimes include evening performances at 7:30 p.m., along with select weekend matinees at 2 p.m. and additional Saturday shows at 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. —so there are plenty of options to plan the perfect evening out.

Doors open an hour before each performance, so arrive early, grab a drink, and settle in. This is your chance to plan ahead and enjoy a night out with your significant other, because you deserve it!
