Mercedes-Benz Superdome. This unique 2-mile race runs participants into the Mercedes-Benz Superdome, up and around the Dome’s Ground, Plaza and Terrace Levels, then down the ramps finishing on the field! This event is fun for competitive runners looking for a new challenge, kids & football fans alike. All participants will receive a race t-shirt, free post-race refreshments, hospitality area during the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl concert in Champions Square and a free general admission ticket to the 2017 R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl. Kenner Community Health Center (inside Esplanade Mall), 1401 West Esplanade Ave., Kenner. The first annual “Jingle Bell Bash” will be held this weekend. Hundreds of children are expected to receive a toys (while supplies last). In addition to the toy giveaway, families will be able to receive free information about healthcare from the Healthy Louisiana Medicare plans, as well as enjoy some fun entertainment including game truck for the kids and free jambalaya. 10 am-1 pm.
