Big Easy Con is a three-day inclusive pop culture convention celebrating the one-of-a-kind culture and people that make New Orleans one of the best cities in the
world.

Big Easy Jr. at Big Easy Con brings new and beloved toy and pop culture brands together in one area for a fun-filled live event! Families can expect to meet their favorite characters, experience hand-on activations, and enjoy a stage dedicated to kids programming all weekend!

COSTUME PARADE
Little superheroes, princesses, and creatures of all kinds are invited to join the Costume Parade on Sunday and show off their awesome outfits! All contestants under the age of 15 will receive a sticker for participating.

KID’S STAGE
With programming all weekend, the Big Easy Jr. Kid’s Stage is a great place for the whole family. Watch Dreamworks episodes of Spirit: Riding Free and She-Ra!, hear local children’s authors, make slime and learn how to be a Ghostbuster, and so much more! Plus, check out the National Wildlife Federation Animal Presentation with Naturalist David Mizejewski, in partnership with Audubon Nature Institute.

FREE ARTIST SKETCHES
Would you child like a sketch of Mickey Mouse drawn by a real Disney artist? How about a doodle of Batman or Harley Quinn from a DC Comics artist illustrator? Stop by the Meet & Greet area in Big Easy Jr. during the scheduled “Free Artist Sketch” times and kids can request a FREE sketch that they can keep and cherish for the rest of their lives!

ACTIVATIONS
Try out a virtual reality game with Athletes Without Borders, build circuits and learn technology with the WWII Museum, snag free stuff at the Giveaway Station, or learn how to play new board and card games with Tubby & Coo’s Mid-City Book Shop. There’s always something cool and creative to do!

MEET & GREETS
Take photos with the Spidey-Team, famous Disney couples, and superheroes and villains alike at the Big Easy Jr. Meet & Greet area. All of your family’s favorite characters will be one hand for photos and fun!
