Get ready for the ultimate Super Bowl weekend experience with Taste of the NFL, an exclusive food and philanthropy event happening in New Orleans on Saturday, February 8, from 4-7 p.m. at the National WWII Museum. This premier culinary showcase brings together top chefs, NFL legends, and a powerful mission to combat student hunger across America.

Presented by Frito-Lay, Quaker, and the PepsiCo Foundation, the event benefits GENYOUth, an organization dedicated to tackling food insecurity by supporting school nutrition programs. All proceeds will go towards equipping high-need schools in Louisiana and nationwide with critical meal service equipment.

Taste of the NFL 2025 will feature an extraordinary lineup of chefs, including culinary hosts Andrew Zimmern, Carla Hall, Tim Love, Lasheeda Perry, and Mark Bucher. They will be joined by over 20 renowned local chefs from celebrated New Orleans restaurants such as Brennan’s, Dooky Chase’s, Restaurant August, and Acme Oyster House. Special appearances include Chef Tamela Davis, wife of Saints linebacker Demario Davis, and PepsiCo’s culinary leaders.

Adding to the excitement, more than 30 NFL legends will be in attendance, including Doug Flutie, Kyle Rudolph, and Mark “Mighty Mouse” McMillian—who will also showcase his grilling expertise. Attendees will have the chance to meet their favorite players, collect autographs, and participate in a live auction featuring Super Bowl LIX tickets and exclusive sports memorabilia.

Beyond the bites, guests will enjoy curated cocktails, live entertainment, and a dessert-tasting experience featuring local pastry artisans. Southern University musicians will set the stage for an unforgettable night, while Walmart’s “lunchbox” wall fundraiser and Lay’s-sponsored FEED gift bags add to the event’s community-driven focus.

Taste of the NFL has a long-standing history of combining football, food, and philanthropy to support the fight against hunger. In 2024, the event raised over $2 million, delivering 148 million school meals to food-insecure students nationwide. With 1 in 5 U.S. children facing food insecurity, this year’s event aims to make an even greater impact.

Tickets for Taste of the NFL 2025 are available at TasteoftheNFL.com or through Ticketmaster. For food enthusiasts, sports fans, and philanthropists alike, this event is the ultimate way to kick off Super Bowl weekend while making a meaningful difference.
