The Power Up: Women’s Leadership Conference is back and bigger than ever, hitting the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center next Thursday, April 3. Hosted by the New Orleans Chamber Foundation and presented by Fidelity Bank P.O.W.E.R., this all-day event is packed with powerhouse speakers, top-tier networking, and real-talk business strategies designed for women looking to level up.

With the theme “Why New Orleans: Culture, Community, and Strategic Growth,” this year’s conference is all about using the city’s unique energy to fuel business success. Expect a crowd of 600+ professionals, two dynamic keynotes, 16 breakout sessions, and plenty of opportunities to build connections that matter.

What’s on the Agenda?

The morning kicks off with Kelsey Foster (Algiers Economic Development Foundation) and Ashley Hilsman (New Orleans Chamber of Commerce) leading a conversation on small business growth across Orleans Parish. Then, in the afternoon, the POWERHOUSE Women Talks take the stage, featuring high-impact TED-style talks from some of the region’s top female leaders, including:

They’ll be breaking down why they built their businesses in New Orleans, what’s fueling their growth, and how partnerships have played a role in their success.

More Than Just Talks

Beyond the big-name keynotes, attendees can dive into workshops, panels, and roundtables covering leadership, time management, communication, and work-life balance. Plus, the Junior League of New Orleans will unveil its 2024 Status of Women report, highlighting key focus areas for improving the quality of life in the city. And, of course, no Power Up event is complete without a little fun; breakfast, a networking happy hour, and a full day of connecting with like-minded professionals make this an event you won’t want to miss.

With less than a week to go, now’s the time to lock in your spot if you haven’t already. Tickets start at $270, and sponsorship opportunities are still available. Grab all the details at powerupnola.com, and get ready to power up your career with some of the best and brightest in the business.
