NORD Hosts its First Special Needs Masquerade Ball

Join the New Orleans Recreation Development (NORD) Commission as it kicks off the 2020 carnival season with its first annual Mardi Gras Masquerade Ball for New Orleans’ special needs population.

The ball will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2020, from 5–8 pm at the Joe W. Brown Rec. Center, 5601 Read Blvd. The event is free and will feature food, a photo booth, entertainment, and fun for persons with disabilities and their families. Get fancy and enjoy a festive evening of Mardi Gras merriment. Formal attire recommended. King and Queen crowned at the event.
