Splendor Farms is a country escape, just an hour from New Orleans, where memories are created. From Riding Lesson and Birthday parties to family stays in the Bunkhouse, memories are waiting to be made! 
Splendor Farms will provide horses to ride, fishing (bait & equipment provided), visiting with the Petting Farm animals, and swimming for only $35/child!
Parties are limited to 3 hours. Birthdays can be celebrated at the farm on Saturdays or Sundays from 11 am to 2 pm. Minimum of 5 children.
Splendor Farms will host your sleep over party (ages 8 and up) in our Guest Bunkhouse! This includes horseback riding, fishing (bait & equipment provided), Petting Farm visits & swimming. There are also lawn games, i.e. horseshoes & volleyball.
The Guest Bunkhouse can sleep as many as 8 kids comfortably, plus it has a sofa sleeper for parents/chaperones, and a full kitchen, which makes breakfast & lunch easy!
Check in is any time after 3 pm. and check out is 1 pm. Cost is $530 for the one night stay. Sleep over parties are for a minimum of 6 persons.
Lessons are once or twice a week, for ages 6 and up.
BEGINNER RIDING LESSONS consist of grooming, saddling, learning to control your horse at a walk and a trot. Western Pleasure pattern work and beginner poles/barrels. One trail ride is included.
INTERMEDIATE RIDING LESSONS consist of saddling, pattern work, loping, 3 trail rides, learning to open/close gates on horseback, and fun with quads, texas barrels, barrels, and poles.
ADVANCED LESSONS available upon request depending on your ultimate goal.
Splendor Farms is a "girls only" horse/farm camp designed for "city" "horse crazy" and "I want to be a vet when I grow up" girls from ages six and up. This camp is designed to give girls an opportunity to learn cooperation, self-confidence, and teamwork through hands-on instruction on a real working farm.
They will not only learn the basics of horsemanship by daily grooming, saddling, riding lessons, and a trail ride, but also enjoy many other activities including a rodeo, horse games, arts and crafts, swimming, and garden harvesting and cooking lessons. There will be field trips to local berry, alpaca, and dairy farms, and more!
Also, guest speakers, such as farriers, equine veterinarians & massage therapists (yes, horses need massages, too!) on various subjects like Equine Digestion & Nutrition & Equine Dentistry! Day camps and overnight camps are offered.
Visiting our farm animals with feed to give to the chickens, turkeys, pigs, sheep, goats, and ponies/burros, plus an arena ride for ages 3-15. Contact us to see which animals are in residence for your visit. 
Reservations are needed for Petting Farm visits. Petting Farm visits are $15/person, ages 3 and up.
Situated on a 75-acre farm, Splendor Farms Bed & Breakfast offers comfortable, family-friendly B&B accommodations in a relaxed country farm setting. We have 3 guest bedrooms, a guest bunkhouse, a guest cabin, a swimming pool & hot tub, horseback riding, a dachshund kennel, petting farm, and nearby hiking, biking, and nature trails.
A few miles up the road is the scenic Bogue Chitto River, where you can make arrangements to go canoeing, tubing, or kayaking!
A fun, relaxing place for adults, Splendor Farms is especially memorable for children, who can help us gather eggs in our hen house or enjoy a playful romp with long-haired miniature dachshunds at our kennel (we also have horses, cows, goats, chickens, and cats). We serve bountiful "farm-style" breakfasts that often feature organic eggs produced by our very own hens, or something fresh from our fruit and vegetable gardens.
For  a bigger group, check out the the Guest Bunkhouse for a  perfect family getaway, is a fully furnished guest apartment with 8 bunk beds, fully stocked kitchen with all appliances and dishware, TV with Amazon Fire Stick, and full bath. Sleeps as many as 8 people.
