We are looking for an enthusiastic marketing/communications intern to join our team and provide/implement creative ideas to help achieve our marketing goals. 
 
As an intern, you will collaborate with our publisher and advertising team in all stages of marketing and sales campaigns. Your insightful contribution will help develop, expand and maintain our marketing and channels. This internship will help you acquire marketing, communication, and some advertising skills. Ultimately, you will gain broad experience and should be prepared to enter any fast-paced work environment.
 
You should be motivated, responsible, timely, and above all, enjoy the process of developing professional relationships and skills.
 
Responsibilities include: attending strategy meetings, assisting with marketing and event outreach. This intern can be expected to take the lead on our newest marketing project – the Nola Family Baby Base Camp. The intern can expect to create and coordinate marketing and staffing plans, compiling press information, and creating schedules from staffing to social media. Occasional weekend work at events can be expected.
 
You will leave this internship with the great feeling of experience, an enhanced portfolio, and we promise a very fun, relaxed environment and a stipend at the end. 🙂

Internships last a full semester. Stipend paid at end of internship. ​​Scheduling is flexible (10-15 hours per week preferred). 

Requirements:
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Extremely organized and detail oriented. Candidate should be self-motivated and be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Highly recommended for current college junior or senior. Experience in Photoshop or Creative Suites is desired.
