March 6

Easter Bunny Arrival Parade

Lakeside Shopping Center, 3301 Veterans Memorial Blvd., Metairie
Don’t miss Easter Bunny’s Arrival Parade, beginning at the Veterans Skylight and ending at Cottontail Trail (Center Court). Doors will open at 10 am with the parade beginning at 10:30. The Cottontail Trail Train & Easter Bunny Photos will begin at 11 am.
The Cottontail Trail Train – Tickets can be purchased beginning March 6th at Center Court. The train accepts cash only. $2/ride or $10 for 10 rides.
Easter Bunny Photos – This year, Easter Bunny photos will be by appointment only, with a limited number of appointments per day. Buy a photo package in advance online and reserve your spot. Click here to book your Easter Bunny Photos!

Bunny Tea

La Petite Palace, 5928 West Metairie Ave., Suite 3, Metairie
Hop on over to La Petite Palace, it’s time for a Bunny Tea! Butterscotch Bunny is ready for their new home as your new Easter companion! Each child will receive a 15″ Bunny stuffed animal to stuff and bring to life before sitting down for the Bunny Tea party! SPECIAL GUEST: Mr. Bunny will be hopping over to greet the Bunny Tea party guests with a photo opportunity & treats! Twilight Eggstravaganza Egg Hunt

Pelican Park, Orange Complex, 63350 Pelican Drive, Mandeville
Get your baskets and flashlights ready. This event will have age-specific hunts starting at 5:45pm, 6pm, 6:15pm, and 6:30pm. In addition, you and your child will enjoy a variety of activities and games. Be sure to register early to secure your spot.


March 14

Easter Eggstravaganza

La Petite Palace, 5928 West Metairie Ave., Suite 3, Metairie
Get ready for an EGGstra special day at La Petite Palace as they host an Easter Eggstravaganza! Easter Pictures at Oakwood Center

Celebrate the Easter season by coming to this event. Tickets are $22/person, including children 3 and up. Enter the Burdette Street gate to start your adventure on the Dominican Bunny Trail! You will stay in your vehicle and ‘Hoppy’ Helpers will hand all the goodies to you! The Easter Bunny will pose for a photo with the children next to their car window! $20 fee (excludes photo purchase) includes two adults and two children. $5 for each additional child or adult. Please register online no later than Wednesday, March 18, 2021. *MASKS REQUIRED

The Bunny Hop

Drive Thru Easter Eggstravaganza

Join the New Orleans Recreation Department for their Drive Thru Easter Eggstravaganza. They will have bags with candy filled Easter Eggs for youth. One bag per child. Child must be present in vehicle. Free and open to all youth ages 3–12. 11 am–1 pm.

EGGSTRAVAGANZA at Zoo To You

Zoo To You Farm, 82089 LA-25, Folsom
Come to the farm for pictures with the Easter Bunny and all his springtime babies. They will have pony rides, face painting, games, inflatables, and exotic animal encounters. You will be able to visit all of the animals up close and personal including Bonita, the two-toed sloth, and Walt, the new baby camel. Food will be available for purchase by Creole Tomateaux food truck. March 20-21. $20/person, 12 months and under free. Cash only! 11 am–4 pm. Event continues March 21, 27, and 28.

Benedict’s Easter High Tea

Benedict’s Plantation, 1144 N. Causeway Blvd., Mandeville
Enjoy a beautiful High Tea with your little one complete with tiers of delectable Easter themed desserts, scones & sandwiches. Photos with the bunny will be available for purchase by Rick King Photography.

Your Buddy & The Bunny at Oakwood Center

Get the fluffy friends together for a contactless, fun-filled Easter eggs-perience! All cats and dogs are welcome to strike a pose during the Easter pet photo nights March 22 & March 29, 5 pm–close. Reservations are required, so reserve your spot for Easter Bunny pet pictures today! 


March 27

Northshore Bunny Hop 5K & 1 Mile Run/Walk

Madisonville Park, 1007 Pine St., Madisonville
The 4th Annual Bunny Hop 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk benefitting Basket of Hope Louisiana has moved to the Town of Madisonville. This is a family friendly event. Participants will gather at the Town Park where the race will begin and end. The 5K course (which is equivalent to 56, 789 bunny hops). For race details, click here. 7–10 am.

Breakfast with the Bunny

West St. Tammany YMCA, 71256 Francis Road, Covington
Admission $5/person includes: yummy pancake breakfast, photo opportunity with the Easter Bunny (bring your camera), and crafts for the kids. Reserve your tickets here. 8–10 am.

Eggstravaganza

Metairie Baptist Church, 401 Codifer Blvd., Metairie
Join the Eggstravaganva! This festival-style Easter event will include FREE candy, snacks, games, crafts, and Easter Egg Hunt. This family-friendly event will include multiple Easter Egg Hunts to accommodate a come-and-go atmosphere. Please make plans to join this safe event and invite your family, friends, and neighbors to come as well. *All CDC recommendations and guidelines will be implored to assure the safety of all attendees. 10 am–noon.

Spring Fest

Longue Vue House and Gardens, 7 Bamboo Road
Join Longue Vue as they welcome and celebrate the Spring season! Spend the morning in the beautiful gardens with a variety of activities to explore. They will have garden crafts led by the horticultural staff, live music, a visit from the Easter Bunny, and professional spring photos by Loupe Photography. Pack a picnic and bring the family for a fun, festive day to welcome the season. Facial coverings are required and photos with Loupe Photography are not included in ticket price. $10/person. 10 am–noon.

Layaya Community Easter Parade

Layaya – Louisiana Young Artist & Young Authors, 8186 Highway 23, Suite D, Belle Chasse
LAYAYA Community Easter Parade will bring some creative, colorful springtime fun to the area. See the official 2 mile route here. Following the parade, enjoy live music and more fun. Social distancing guidelines will be followed at the parade after-event. 11 am–5 pm.

Doggie Easter Egg Hunt

Woofgang Pup Bakery, 2020 Gause Blvd. West, Slidell
Come to Woofgang Pup Bakery’s first annual Doggie Easter Egg Hunt. Enjoy a doggie Easter egg hunt and free doggie Easter pictures. Dress-up your pup up in their best Easter attire and the costume contest at 2:30pm. For more information, click here. 11 am–5 pm.

Easter EGGstravaganza

Lakeview Creative Arts, 6512 Spanish Fort Blvd.
Join Lakeview Creative Arts for their first annual Easter EGGstravaganza. All participants will receive admission to the egg hunt in an outdoor area and one snowball/participant. There will also have face painting, special prize eggs, and a visit with the Easter bunny. (Pictures may be purchased at an additional cost).
Admission will be in two groups: 5 and under and 6 and over. Each group will be separate for the egg hunt.
Please keep in mind that most of the eggs will be candy-free, with small trinkets inside each. There may be some with candy; however, the majority of the eggs will not contain candy. Please bring your own basket or bag to collect eggs. A bag will not be provided for this event. Register here. 12:30 pm.

Progressive Easter Egg Hunt

First United Methodist Church, 433 Erlanger Ave., Slidell
FUMC’s Progressive Easter Egg Hunt will begin at the FUMC playground on 4th Street. Maps will be handed out to show the locations throughout Olde Town where the stuffed eggs can be found. Driving to each location is encouraged. After hopping by all of the egg-fabulous stops, Hunt Goers will return to the FUMC playground for a chance at the Golden Egg and to-go snacks! Registration required. Please contact Lisa Carlton by text at 985-966-8660 with your name and number of kids participating. BK House Easter Egg Hunt

The Beauregard-Keyes Historic House & Gardens, 1113 Chartres Street
BK House welcomes children of all ages to their inaugural Garden Easter Egg Hunt. Children are invited to meet the Easter Bunny, dye eggs, and hunt for treasured Easter Eggs in the historic parterre garden. 
Doors open at 2:00 and the hunt will start at 2:20 for kids under 5 (the littles will get a head start) and 2:30 for the big kids. After the hunt, everyone is invited to join egg dyeing and photos with the Easter bunny in the courtyard. Light refreshments will be provided for parents as well as the opportunity to tour the historic home. An EGGciting time for the whole family!

Spring Family Fest

Children’s Museum of St. Tammany, 21404 Koop Dr., Mandeville
The Spring Family Fest on the lawn of the Children’s Museum of St. Tammany will feature an egg hunt, activities, refreshments, face painting, photos with the Easter bunny, cookie decorating, and more. Easter Bunny Brunch

Mandeville Social, 800 Causeway Blvd., Suite 1D, Mandeville
Hop into the Easter week with a family friendly brunch with the Easter bunny. Enjoy a delicious brunch and craft activities as well as the opportunity to take pictures with the Easter bunny. Kids Brunch menu options includes pancakes, fresh fruit, breakfast potatoes, choice of meat, eggs, juice, or chocolate milk. Adult options available as well. $15 for brunch and craft activities. $20 Easter Bunny photos includes two (2) digital photos paid to photographer cash ONLY for photos. Eggs-clusive Easter Egg Hunt

NOLA Kidsground, 5700 Citrus Blvd., Suite D, New Orleans
Join NOLA Kidsground for an “Eggs-clusive” Easter Egg Hunt and Play experience for your family and friends. This “egg-citing” package includes one hour admission for up to 8 children for a private Easter egg hunt and private play date exclusively for your group. Meet the Easter Bunny During Jazz Brunch

The Easter Bunny will be visiting the Court of Two Sisters during Jazz Brunch. The Easter Bunny will go table to table every hour to meet and greet with treats and color sheets for the kids.
