The Octave School of Music is family owned and operated music school in Metairie, LA. We specialize in stress-free private music classes, music lessons for kids with special needs, and our homeschool Enrichment Co-Op program.

We offer private lessons on voice, piano, guitar, drums, violin, ukulele, trumpet, and more! Our lessons start as young as age 4 are as unique as the students that take them. We offer classes during the week starting from 11am-8pm. We teach with a simple motto in mind: Play what you like; Like what you play.

Our Homeschool Choir is a great option for those students looking to sing some fun music with their friends. The choir also opens the show at each of our recitals.

We offer two recitals each year free of charge for all our students to showcase their talents. They’re highly recommended but completely optional, so feel free to learn even if you’re camera-shy.
