What is the school’s mission and philosophy? Based on the belief that God is the center of all being, the community of St. Edward the Confessor Catholic School strives to foster the spiritual, intellectual, personal, social, creative, and physical development of each child to his/her fullest capacity.

How does the school differentiate itself from other private schools in the area? Catholic beliefs and values permeate the curriculum integrating Faith and Learning. The comprehensive curriculum reinforces critical thinking skills and prepares students for academic success. The school offers extensive fine arts programs including art, instrumental music, band, chorale, and handbell choir.

What extracurricular activities and clubs are available? Band, bowling, cabbage ball, cheerleading, Chess Club, chorale, cross country, flag football, hand bell choir, interscholastic academic competitions, Builders Club, Lego Club, Mission Club, National Junior Art Honor Society, Student Council, volleyball, Newspaper, Pro-Life Club, soccer, Safety Patrol, WPIG Newscast, Library Club, Altar Servers, and Quiz Bowl.

How does the school foster a sense of community among students? Students are encouraged to participate in varied athletic and artistic programs at the school. Leadership skills are developed through Student Council, Builder’s Club, Mission Club, and other service organizations. Participation in the Purple Star Military Programs helps develop us as a military friendly school.

How can parents get involved in the school community? Parent and Grandparent Clubs are welcoming and active in the lives of our students and our school. Parents volunteer regularly for programs during the school day and activities after school and on weekends.
