As New Orleans’ only free, public preK-12 French school, Lycée Français de la Nouvelle-Orleans is designing and providing an innovative, world-class French Accredited learning model by immersing students in a culturally and linguistically rich learning environment. With lower, middle, and upper school campuses located in Uptown New Orleans, LFNO is open to all Louisiana families, regardless of parish of residence. Achieving requirements of both the Louisiana state curriculum and the French national curriculum, LFNO maintains four academic goals to increase mathematic, reading and testing performance and goal achievement, while also surrounding students with French language, culture, and academic life.

Where students develop a love of culture and learning.
Across each of our campuses, students at Lycée Français de la Nouvelle-Orléans benefit from our commitment to developing their understanding – personally, academically, and globally. The years spent here are the building blocks for a life filled with the opportunities our students imagine.

Our community is a supportive, collaborative environment where students from across the region come together with educators from around the world to push thought and perspective inside and outside of the classroom. This unique environment gives students an experience unlike any other in the area.
