What is the school’s mission and philosophy? Our mission is to provide a rigorous learning environment where students achieve academically, develop intellectual curiosity, and practice environmental responsibility while exploring health and science topics and careers.

How does the school differentiate itself from other charter schools in the area? Our curriculum emphasizes health sciences and includes a formal partnership with Ochsner, providing numerous opportunities for our students. We also proudly offer Emeril’s Culinary Garden & Teaching Kitchen program.

What are the core values that guide the school community? Our core values, represented by the acronym HEART, consist of five key principles: Honor, Endurance, Academic Achievement, Responsibility, and Tolerance.

Are there advanced placement, honors programs, or dual enrollment classes available? We offer honors classes starting in middle school and provide high school level courses to students in 8th grade.

What extracurricular activities and clubs are available? Baseball, Basketball, Cross Country, Dance, Flag Football, Pep Squad, Soccer, Swim, and Volleyball. Students can also get involved in choir, robotics, and

Student Council.

How does the school foster a sense of community among students? We organize activities to promote collaboration & teamwork. These initiatives create an inclusive environment where students feel valued and connected.

How can parents get involved in the school community? We encourage parents to take an active role in their child’s education. Additionally, we have a vibrant Parent-Teacher Organization where parents can connect with one another while organizing community events.
