Anna Shapard and Melissa Jorden, two sisters, are the founders of The Hive on Woodland. Anna, a retired primary school principal, and Melissa, an occupational therapist who works with children in schools, share a deep passion for creating enriching environments for kids. Their shared vision led to the establishment of The Hive, a space where children not only feel a sense of belonging but also engage in a variety of activities that enhance their well-being.

The Hive offers numerous opportunities for children to participate in programs centered on fitness, well- being, character building, artistic expression, and various forms of play. These programs include before and after school care, holiday and summer camps, and other specialized sessions.

On weekends, The Hive transforms into a premier party venue. With exclusive access to 5000 square feet of one of the most modern and vibrant spaces around town, party hosts and guests can celebrate in style. The indoor playground, featuring a unique, custom-built design, encourages laughter and adventure for kids of all ages. The Hive staff is dedicated to making party hosting effortless, allowing families to create unforgettable memories with their children in a fun and one-of-a-kind setting.
