Searching for an activity for a night out with friends? Look no further!

SIX the Musical is currently playing at the Saenger Theatre and makes the perfect night on the town with girlfriends, your significant other, or any fun occasion. While there are some mature themes, it’s best to leave the kiddos at home, as the show is recommended for ages 10 and up.

Not your typical production, SIX the Musical is an hour-long, women-led show featuring six lead singers and a four-piece, all-female band. The stage setup is linear, as the show leans more toward a concert than a traditional play.

The show explores the history of the six women who—as most remember—King Henry VIII was married to. Over the course of an hour, each woman tells her story of being married to the king, all while competing against each other for the leading spot in the band.

It’s witty, funny, uplifting, emotional, powerful, and everything in between. With songs that span a wide range of styles and draw inspiration from artists like Beyoncé, Avril Lavigne, Adele, Ariana Grande, Alicia Keys, and Rihanna, each woman showcases her unique personality and charm.

We had the pleasure of attending the show, and I’m here to tell you it’s something you don’t want to miss. The show runs now through April 19. Learn more about what to expect and get your tickets at us.atgtickets.com
