The NFL season finale kicks off on Sunday, February 8. While some fans head out to experience the Super Bowl live and in-person, many others gather at home with friends and families to watch the game from the couch with snacks in hand.
Watch parties are a fun way to celebrate football games in the comfort of your own space. When you host one, it’s important to have plenty of comfortable seating, good company, and–most importantly–delicious food.
We’ve rounded up five Super Bowl-style recipes that are easy to make and perfect for any watch party. Whether you’re feeding adults or kids, these game-day bites score big during the anticipated game!
Football Bites
Put a creative spin on pigs in a blanke with these football-themed bites that are delicious and always a crowd favorite.
Ingredients: Cocktail sausages, Pillsbury crescent rolls, mustard, ketchup
Directions: Heat the cocktail sausages according to package instructions. Unroll the crescent dough and cut it into strips. Wrap each sausage in a strip of dough and place them on a baking sheet. Bake until the dough turns golden brown. Once cooled, drizzle mustard or ketchup on top to create football-style laces.
Touchdown Sliders
These easy sliders win over any crowd, and you can customize them to fit every taste.
Ingredients: Hawaiian rolls, deli meat, cheese slices, aioli mayo, poppy seeds, butter
Directions: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and spray a baking dish with cooking spray. Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half and place the bottom layer in the dish. Spread aioli evenly across the rolls, then layer your choice of cheese and deli meat. Next, place the top half of the rolls on top. Mix melted butter and poppy seed and brush the mixture over of the buns. Bake for 10-15 minutes.
Turf Dessert Cups
If you love classic dirt cups, this football field-inspired version of the dessert is right for you and your guests.
Ingredients: Plastic party cups, original Oreos, chocolate pudding, green M&M’s
Directions: Crush the Oreos into fine crumbs. Add a layer of the crumbs to the bottom of each cup, followed by a layer ofgreen M&M’s. Spoon in chocolate pudding, filling the cup just a little over halfway full. Finish with another layer of crumbs and M&M’s on top.
Fan’s Favorite Cheese Dip
This warm cheese dip is guaranteed to receive almost as much attention as the game.
Ingredients: Rotel tomatoes, ground beef, Velveeta cheese, taco seasoning, tortilla chips
Directions: Brown the ground beef with taco seasoning, then drain the grease. Add Rotel tomatoes (do not drain) and Velveeta cheese to the same pan. Stir until melted and combined. Transfer the dip to a slow cooker to keep it warm. Serve with tortilla chips.
Veggie Stadium Tray
Simple, easy, and a classic staple–this veggie tray is exactly how it sounds: Delicious!
Ingredients: Assorted vegetables, ranch seasoning, sour cream
Directions: Mix a packet of ranch seasoning with sour cream and pour into a small serving bowl. Wash and arrage the vegetables around a platter, placing the ranch dip in the center.
