First Academy Early Learning Center (ELC) is a State of Louisiana licensed Type One daycare facility conveniently located in the Lakeview area of New Orleans. Our modern, welcoming center provides quality childcare for children ages six weeks to three years, offering families a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment during these crucial early years. The ELC is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., making it a convenient option for working families.

Our program utilizes the WEE Learn curriculum developed by LifeWay Early Education Resources. This age-graded, developmentally appropriate curriculum is designed to support each stage of early childhood growth. Through hands-on learning, structured play, and age appropriate activities, children build foundational skills in language, motor development, social interaction, and early problem-solving.

First Academy Early Learning Center offers exceptional care for infants and young toddlers alike. Our Lakefront location, at First Baptist New Orleans, just off the interstate on Canal Boulevard, allows for easy drop-off and pick-up for busy families.

Our Christian teachers provide unconditional love and guidance in a Christ-centered environment. Each child is nurtured emotionally, socially, developmentally, and spiritually, allowing them to grow with confidence and curiosity.

March 2, 2026, begins our open registration period. Registration will remain open until all seats are filled. A non-refundable $300 registration fee and completion of the registration packet are required prior to class assignments. We look forward to partnering with families like yours.
