Pete the Cat, the popular New York Times #1 bestselling children’s book series by Kimberly and James Dean, comes to life on the Lafon Performing Arts Center stage on February 8 at 3 p.m. The company presents TheaterWorksUSA’s family musical version of Pete the Cat, recommended for ages 4–9. In this live performance, the Blue Cat takes on a groovy, adventurous role—rocking out his way into the lives of his new family, the Biddles. Along the way, he helps the youngest, Jimmy, discover his groove and sense of adventure. Filled with twists, excitement, magic sunglasses, friendship, and plenty of inspiration, the story follows Pete and Jimmy as they find exactly what they’re looking for through music and adventure.
