New Year’s Eve Countdown to Noon
Louisiana Children’s Museum, 15 Henry Thomas Drive. Celebrate Noon Year’s Eve at LCM! Fog Flowing, Bells Tolling, Balls Rolling and Bubbles Blowing. Join LCM at the stroke of noon for a New Year’s Eve celebration for the whole family. Ring in the New Year on their Event Lawn as they countdown to noon with ringing bells, bubbles and beach balls! Enjoy a brass band second line and special activities like face painting, paper bag hat decorating, make your own confetti and so much more! General Admission: $20/person, Members: $10/person. Advanced tickets required.  9:30 am–2:30 pm.


Cinderella’s New Year’s Masquerade Ball
English Turn Golf & Country Club, 1 Clubhouse Dr. Join Cinderella, Prince Charming and their Royal Court as they ring in the new year with dancing, food, drinks and fun! Come dressed in your best Royal Formal attire. Enjoy a New Year’s countdown to Noon with a dance party to follow. Ticket prices start at $45/person. 10 am-12:30 pm.


New Year’s Eve at the Children’s Museum
Children’s Museum of St. Tammany, 21404 Koop Drive, Mandeville. Celebrate New Year’s Eve at the Children’s Museum! Enjoy special holiday programming that includes face painting, a 4 family membership giveaway, countdown to 1pm, and New Years activities throughout the day. All activities are included with the cost of admission. General admission to the museum is $7/person over the age of 12 months. 10 am-1 pm.


Zoo Year’s Eve
Audubon Zoo, 6500 Magazine St. Audubon Zoo invites families and kids of all ages to celebrate the new year in style with music, games, and prizes. Pick up a party hat and noisemaker, grab a Pepsi drink for toasting, and count down to Noon to ring in the New Year! 10:30 am-12:30 pm.


Rockin’ Noon Year’s Eve Balloon Drop

NOLA ChristmasFest 2019
Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, 900 Convention Center Blvd. Now in its 7th year, New Orleans’ most exciting indoor holiday attraction, returns in December. Packed with indoor family fun, this delightful family tradition features over 300,000 square feet of rides, giant ice slides, a real ice skating rink and holiday décor that is sure to jump start any family into the holiday spirit. General admission $20/person. 11 am-3 pm.


Allstate Sugar Bowl New Year’s Eve Parade
The Allstate Sugar Bowl New Year’s Eve Parade, a Mardi Gras-style parade with floats, bands and other participants, will entertain fans young and old prior to the 2020 Allstate Sugar Bowl. The parade will begin at the intersection of Elysian Fields Avenue and Decatur Street at approximately 2:45 p.m.

The parade will travel through the French Quarter up Decatur Street along the Mississippi River, passing iconic landmarks such as The Old US Mint, the French Market, Cafe du Monde and Jackson Square.

At approximately 3 p.m., the Parade will pass the WDSU stage on Decatur Street inside the Jax Brewery parking lot, where WDSU has set up for live coverage of the parade between 3 and 4 p.m. – all performers will do a two-minute show at this location. The parade wraps up at Canal Street.

Noon Year’s Eve Kick Off to 2020

New Year’s Eve Fireworks Viewing
Crescent Park, Mandeville St. Wharf. Crescent Park will open for the New Year’s Eve fireworks display from 10:00pm – 1:00am. Permitted items include chairs, blankets, carry-in food & beverage, and small personal coolers. Prohibited items include glass bottles, fireworks, firearms, rolling and/or large ice chests/coolers, and tents.
