The King Cake Hub, offering 28 varieties of King Cake in one central location–the Mortuary on Canal Blvd. –is a scary good idea!

The brainchild of Will Samuels, the former owner of the now closed Pizza Nola, the King Cake Hub takes all the work out of hunting down your favorite king cakes from all over the city.

Open daily at 8 am beginning Jan. 6th (of course) until Lundi Gras, you can stop in or order online (they even have a $300 package, the King Cake Coterie, if you so desire).

Here are some of the often hard-to-reach stores’ cakes they’ll be offering; the Hi Do Bakery Traditional King Cake, Caluda’s single-filled and double-filled King Cakes, Gambino’s Bakery Filled King Cake, Cannata’s Gooey Butter Snickerdoodle filled King Cake, Who Dat King Cake and Cannoli King Cake, The Bywater Bakery Carnival King Cake and the NOCCA Satsuma Almond King Cake, to name a few.

If you’re looking for healthy options, they even have Girls Gone Vegan ‘Filled Gluten-Free Vegan’ King Cake and Eat Fit King Cake from Caluda’s.
