Blackwater United Methodist Church,  10000 Blackwater Rd, Baker. Oct. 7-30. Pumpkin patch, already gathered from the field. All proceeds from the sale of pumpkins go to missions that transform the Central Community and the world for Jesus Christ. (Mon.-Fri., 9 am-12 pm & 3-7 pm; Sat. 9 am-5 pm; Sun. 1-4 pm)

First United Methodist Church

First Presbyterian Church,  5401 S. Clairborne Ave. (corner of S. Clairborne and Octavia). Oct. 2-31. Pumpkins grown on Navajo land. Huge selection of sizes, shapes, textures and colors, including ornamental gourds and decorative corn. Benefiting The Program of Hope Homeless & Hungry program. fpcno.org. Liuzza Produce Farm, 56457 Holden Circle, Amite. Saturdays through mid-Nov: Pumpkins, horse-drawn hay rides, wagon rides, concessions/refreshment stand, restrooms, picnic area, face painting, pony rides, petting zoo, farm animals, birthday parties, school tours, events at your location. Call ahead for availability. $10 for pumpkin and all activities. (10 am-4 pm Saturdays only)

Mrs. Heather’s Pumpkin Patch, 11215 Lees Ln., Hammond. This authentic pumpkin patch, where kids can actually pick a pumpkin, is worth the drive. With face painting, a small corn maze and more. thfarms.com. Sept. 23-Nov. 8. (Daily, 9 am-5 pm, Weekends, 10 am-5 pm)

Perrilloux Farms Pumpkin Farm & Hayride, 17834  River Rd., Montz. Oct. 6-31.   The $7 admission fee includes the wagon ride (on the hour), a pumpkin, and washing facilities for children and adults. 985.652.3672. (Sat.-Sun., 9 am- 4 pm)

Plum Streets Pumpkin Patch, Lafreneire Park, 3000 Downs Blvd, Metairie. Opens Oct. 1, Tues.-Fri., 2 pm-dusk and Sat. 11 am-dusk. It’s Fall y’all….snowballs & pumpkins are how Plum Street welcomes Fall in NOLA! Now accepting reservations for field trips to the pumpkin patch. 

St. Anselm Catholic Church, 306 St. Mary St., Madisonville. Oct. 8 until they sell out. Prices start at $1. (9 am-6 pm daily)

St. Augustine, 3412 Haring Road, Metairie. The first load of pumpkins are scheduled to arrive on Oct. 5. visit their pumpkin patch page.      

St. Martin’s Episcopal Church, St Martin’s, 2216 Metairie Rd., Metairie. Sept. 26-Oct. 31st.  Pumpkins of all sizes are available for purchase, including jumbos, perfect for jack-o’-lantern carving, and minis that even the littlest child can pick up and carry. stmepiscopal.com. St. Marks Episcopal, 3245 Manhattan Blvd., Harvey. The Pumpkin patch is through Oct 31, but you can also join them for their Trunk or Treat Oct. 31 at 6 pm.
