Zeta Phi Beta:
The Rho Epsilon chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority has started a GoFundMe account to raise money for families and students in the Baton Rouge area who have been affected by flooding.
Rouses Markets:
In partnership with Second Harvest Food Bank, Rouses Markets are accepting cash donations and donations of non-perishable food, cleaning supplies and toiletries. You can make donations at the cash register or online.
Orleans Parish Sheriff’s Office:
The sheriff’s office is accepting clean clothing for flood victims beginning Monday morning. All clothing should be bagged or boxed and can be delivered to the Sheriff’s Office training building at 819 South Broad Street.
Canine Connection
We are teaming up with the LASPCA to help the animals that are affected by the devastating flooding. We will have a detailed list of needs after tomorrow’s meeting, but we are now accepting donations of cat and dog food, blankets and towels, bleach products, and food bowls.
Junior League of New Orleans
diapers from sizes newborn to 5, as well as women’s hygiene products and gift cards in $20 amounts to Target and Wal-Mart. 4319 Carondelet St. {8:30am – 5:30pm} from Monday, August 15 through Friday, August 19. JLNO will ensure the items arrive in Baton Rouge and Lafayette.

St. Catherine of Siena Men’s Club
St. Catherine of Siena (corner of Bonnable and Metairie Road). Cash donations please drop off at the parish office. We are accepting donations through Wednesday, August 17. Monetary donations can be dropped off at the parish office and will be given to Catholic Charities Baton Rouge (Checks payable to SCS with memo “Flood Assistance”). Other items can be delivered to the Narthex of church between 8:00am and 4:30pm. Donations will be delivered Friday, August 19 in a 50′ trailer. Bring clothes, new toiletries, water, toys, baby food, wet wipes, diapers, gloves, rubber boots – and and all other donations accepted!
Hi Brow Old Metairie
Hi-Brow is accepting all donations for those affected by this flooding. For every garbage bag of clothes and every box you will receive a 20% off gift card to any product in the store. Friday I will be driving up to Baton Rouge to drop off at schools, homes and shelters.
