Have a Blast at Zoo-To-Do for Kids on April 28

Each New Orleans Spring brings with it events we’ve all come to know and love. One of our family favorites and most anticipated is Zoo-To-Do for Kids Presented by Tulane Pediatrics, a fun-filled, philanthropic event for children on Friday, April 28, at Audubon Zoo

Admission covers food, drink, giant inflatables and arcade games. The event also will feature the Zoo’s hand-held animals, cheerleading and sports clinics, face painting and temporary tattoos, arts and crafts, and separate areas for toddlers (1-5) and juniors (6-15).

The menu includes cuisine from more than 40 local restaurants, as well as lots of kid-friendly snacks. Back for a second year, presenting sponsor Tulane Pediatrics will host a tent offering a variety of educational activities for families.

The Super Stars will perform on the Main Stage, with a deejay in the junior area.

Additionally, there will be dancing and entertainment for kids in the Princess Play Land area and the WTUL Kids Show with Chris Trochez in the Cooper Plaza area.

Proceeds from the Zoo-To-Do for Kids Presented by Tulane Pediatrics, along with the Whitney Zoo-To-Do (for adults) on May 5, will be used to celebrate a significant expansion of the ever-popular Jaguar Jungle at Audubon Zoo.

Both Zoo-To-Do events will take place rain or shine. Be sure to purchase your tickets early (see box for information); no tickets will be sold on the night of the event.
