LPO Moves Around the World- 2:30 pm

Discover the many ways an orchestra moves and can move its audience in the LPO’s second family concert of the season. See the physical motions of their musicians and their instruments, listen to the movements of your favorite melodies, and you just might be moved yourself! Be sure to arrive 45 minutes prior to concert to interact with LPO musicians and their instruments.

King Cake Festival –10 am to 4pm

Ochsner presents the 4th Annual King Cake Festival on January 29, 2017 – a celebration benefiting babies and children at Ochsner! Held in Champions Square, join us to taste king cakes from the finest bakeries, enjoy live music and support pediatric programs!  The Family Fun run, a one mile run at the Superdome, begins at 9:45. Registration fees and details at Gladiator run and family fun run . Prizes will awarded to to finishers and best costume. There will also be a stroller decoration contest.
